The Arctic Blast 2001 Classroom "Collaboration" Contest works like this:
1. Enter into the Collaboration Zone and select one or more of the eight Study Circle topics (To learn more about the Collaboration Zone, click on the 'Zone Outline' or the 'Tutorial'). Read ‘From the Sled’ as well as the other background information provided.
2. Read the questions listed in the ‘Brainstorming’ and ‘Collaboration Activities’ sections. Click on any question to enter your opinion, answer, or project results. You can also check out your competition by reading other entries in each question.
3. All entries posted between April 9th and May 7th, 2001 will automatically be entered into the contest. Enter as many times as you would like in one or all of the eight Study Circles. Enter individually or as a class. Please include your name, teacher's name, and school name with each entry.
4. Entries will be judged by representatives from Nomads Adventure & Education, Lotus Development, and Connectria. Judges will be looking for your opinions, unique collaboration projects, creativity, integrated use of technology, and regional insights.
